Quote – “Only recently identified, the Jampal is a rare and ancient local grape from the western Lisboa area, close to the ocean. It produces a crisp, tight and mineral-textured wine. This example is fresh, lively and bright with sliced apple and lime flavours and a fruity aftertaste. It is ready to drink” (ROGER VOSS, European Editor. Reviews wines from Portugal and France)
Quote – “A tight, very focused nose and palate of great limpidity reveals minerals, floral, citrus and crunchy star fruit aromas and flavours. Smoky oak could detract from its limpidity but in fact cleverly complements this wine's minerality. A quality which is also reinforced by its salty long, persistent finish. Truly unique. An exciting wine” (SARAH AHMED, The Wine Detective. The inside track on Portuguese and Australian wine) [about vintage of 2013]
Quote – “Very pale, this sees oak but it is virtually undetectable on the nose with lifted, gently floral aromas that are delicate and spicy, quite exotic but utterly fresh. The palate has a freshness and mountain-stream clarity. It is fairly light and arguably just a touch dilute on the lemony, very clean finish, but then the hints of honeyed richness are there” (TOM CANNAVAN, Wine-Pages.com) [about vintage of 2011]
